Andrea and Jason’s Wedding
Nashpoint Lighthouse, South Wales
There’s so many advantages of being a professional photographer, not just for the photographer, but also for the clients. As I’ve mentioned in the past, I’ve helped out other photographers who were unable to photograph someone’s wedding for very good reason. For this absolutely glorious wedding, I happened to have slept awkwardly, and my back kept on going into spasm… arghh!! I couldn’t even pick up an empty plate to clear my dishes, let alone a full frame camera and lens!
So I called on a good friend who just happens to be an amazing photographer too! Graham Harries of gphotography.org.uk kudos for accepting my offer as a second shooter within a few hours to ceremony. Thanks to some pain killers, I was good to shoot the wedding by the time I got to Nash Point Lighthouse in St Donas near Bridgend in South Wales.
I love small intimate weddings, you really feel a part of the family, and the welcome is so warming <3 So it turns out that Andrea and Jason also think that photographs are one of the most important things you can have on a wedding day. So after the lighthouse photos, we went to the cliff edge for some photos, then over by the cafe for more photos… and whilst we were at it, we drove to find some rapeseed fields too! And if that wasn’t enough, when the sun was going down, we went for some silhouette shots of this absolutely amazing couple!
