Wedding in England

How exciting! I absolutely love shooting at new wedding venues, especially ones in England. Only because I’m used to the ones in South Wales. So it makes a nice change, and creates new challenges! This is the second time I’ve photographed a wedding England, the last one was in Manor House, Castle Coombe.

As usual, I didn’t scout the venue beforehand, as I don’t like to create the same photos as other wedding photographers.

The Morning

The weather was amazing for this beautiful wedding in Tewkesbury. And turning up the brides house on the morning, we could see we were in for an amazing day! We had some quick photos in the morning, followed by a quick visit to her grans house for a photo opportunity too. I don’t usually comment on bridesmaids dresses, but these four girls were wearing the most vibrant dresses, they looked amazing!! I love a bit of colour at a wedding, so much joy added visually!

Tewkesbury Park

Arriving at Tewkesbury Park in plenty of time, it gave me the chance to have a quick look around this modern, yet grand golf club. What a beautiful venue to be getting married in! I absolutely loved this place, so if you’re reading this, and thinking of getting married here, make sure you book me! 😀 I love the massive windows in the reception room, providing gorgeous natural light. And the ceremony room was stunning too, so elegant. The big mirrors proved challenging though, I had to make sure I was out of the shot as the bride and bridesmaids walked down the aisle.

Golf Course

After the ceremony, we had the group shots just outside to make the most of the greens and the beautiful sunshine! Thanks to the staff for providing us gold buggies to go round the golf course for some photos!

Sunset

Once the speeches was spoken, and food eaten, the sun was setting, the sky was on fire! It was rude not to get more photos of this gorgeous bride and her handsome groom again! It was a bit rushed, but we were glad we did, as we just made it, with enough time to get several photos!
