As a wedding photographer in South Wales it was a pleasure to photograph Amy and Jay’s wedding in Llanelli, and at such a fantastically photogenic wedding venue too! I always look forward to shooting at this wedding here in Llanelli.

I would have loved to shown you more of these wedding photographs, but it’s not feasible, as there was so many great photographs to choose from, so I’ve regrettably cut down on the selection whilst still showing you how the emotional day unfolded.
The Weather
To cut the long story short, at typical Llanelli weather, it was raining, oh no… and this was a marquee wedding, and there was nowhere I could go without getting wet. But I love a challenge, and I tend to work best under pressure!! So my creative cogs in my head was turning, and I had a good few ideas in my head, one involved the owners ladder. I could see all the finished images in my head, and was ready to do this! After an emotional ceremony, I had my plan ready to go, but in true Welsh weather, the sun had some out! We had the opportunity to go around a lot of the venue which was great, and the heat from the sun had dried up a lot of the grounds – result!!

I have so much to thank for this awesome couple, as they truly made the photos by walking in the mud, I could hear it squelching, but they didn’t care, and as a result, they had the images to remember for a lifetime! Thanks guys, really appreciate how awesome you were! “To the bride and groom!”
