Professional Photography South Wales
First of all, a massive thank you to Tracey for recommending me to Aimee, not only is this another amazing wedding I get to photograph. But it also saved Aimee and Calvin from having a friend photograph their wedding. I’m not saying they wouldn’t be able to capture beautiful moments and portraits for them, but as a professional photographer, I am insured and I have back up cameras, I also have a reliable circle of friends, who happen to be professional photographers too, so in the event of me not being able to make the wedding, I am able to get you a replacement photographer similar to my style too!
Wedding Suppliers – All in One!
Aimee had already booked her hair stylist Gemma, who lived in Min Y Mor in Llanelli, and had already used a seamstress for dress alterations, who was also based in Min Y Mor in Llanelli! So when Aimee asked for recommendations for a photographer, she found out I was also based in Min Y Mor in Llanelli! What a coincidence! Or is it fate?!
Not only that, when she popped in with Calvin, we found out that Calvin was childhood friends with my wife Heidi! Such a small world!
Stradey Park Hotel
Aimee got ready in the bridal suite at Stradey Park Hotel, what a pleasure to photograph, so down to earth, and was so much fun in the morning! They got married in the conservatory which is just so elegant and beautiful with the colour schemes Aimee and Calvin had chosen, they made for absolutely beautiful wedding photos!
Stradey Castle
Shortly after the ceremony, we popped over to the exquisite Stradey Castle, it goes without saying, we had a lovely and warm welcome by Claire at Stradey Castle. We had two hours for photographs too, so made the most of the Castle to get some elegant and moden photos for the bride and groom.
Dark Winter Weddings – No Problem!
With the group photos being done after the wedding breakfast, the sun had gone down, but that wasn’t a problem at all, I bring my own portable studio lights to light up the group photos. With the rugby on, and many of the guests rugby fans, I thought it was going to be difficult getting everyone out for group photos outside Stradey Park Hotel. But fairy play, the guests came out promptly for photos!
An Elvis Surprise!
With Calvin being a keen Elvis fan, Aimee had arrange for an Elvis impersonator to make an appearance at the wedding. But not just an appearance, he sung the first dance as a surprise! Applause for the best men and ushers for the confetti canon’s during the first dance – check out the photos!
