Wedding Venue in South Wales

Stradey Castle in Llanelli is a new addition to one of the many wedding venues across South Wales, this venue offers so much history and character.  I photographed here as a location based wedding photography, we started in Felinfoel Church which is 5 a 5 intestinal drive, and finished off in Stradey Park Hotel, which is literally up the road from Stradey Castle.

Although I’ve photographed a wedding at Stradey Castle, I was assisting a fellow Llanelli Wedding Photographer with their wedding.  So yesterday was my first time at the venue.

Having scouted the venue before hand and met Claire, who was so helpful and friendly,  she showed me around the rooms, and I was already in awe thinking ahead of what photos I could take at the wedding coming up!

Wedding day had come around, and I  couldn’t wait to  put my creative mind into action! There was so much character, I really was spoilt for choice, there was the beautiful staircase, the continuous arches, dining room, drawing room…  and the library, I’ll love the library, I could have spent so much time there.   But I had to finish somewhere! So off we went outside to make the most of our Welsh weather.   The gardens were just as beautiful and it was a pleasure to photograph at.
