Katy and John’s South Wales Wedding | Peterstone Court, Brecon
It’s always a pleasure to be asked to photograph a couples wedding day, I am always honoured when they put all their trust in me to document wedding day with my creativity and expertise I have learnt over the years, and continue to do so with my on-going training in photography. So when I turned up at the Katy’s home, I was in awe when I seen the amazingly landscaped garden at the back of the house. What an amazing sight, it was full of paths and secret gardens! I could have easily spent all day photographing Katy and Jon there instead of going to the wonderful Peterstone Court too! It’s been a while since I photographed a brides wedding dress outside, and what perfect opportunity to do so! But unfortunately, time was against us, so I got my shot, and it was on with the bridal preparations! The light in the conservatory on this day was beautiful, so most of the photos were shot with natural light, it had been a whilst since I had a bride with a long veil, so I just had to get some creative photographs with it 🙂
At Peterstone Court, the guests were absolutely fabulous! Group shots were done really quickly, and it enabled us plenty of time to get some portraits for the bride and groom! My coverage stayed until the night, where we were supposed to have some fireworks, this would have been a first for me, but unfortunately, due to the live stock, we were unable to set any off. But this gave me the chance to get some night time photography at the poolside, which turns out to be one of my all time favourite shots!
Here’s a video of the day, enjoy!
