What an absolute pleasure to be photographing my ex collegues’ wedding at Oldwalls, Gower! Tina got ready at Oldwalls’ stunning cottage, Mulberry House. What a lovely warm welcome from all Tina’s family, they’re all so down to earth, so it was fun to capture the morning as it unfolded.
Ceremony at Oldwalls
It’s hard to believe, that with Andrew’s background in acting, and his role in work, that he was so nervous. All that build up to the wedding, and the day is finally here. I like to think of it as excitement, marrying your best friend, rather than nerves 🙂
Weobley Castle
After the ceremony and groups, we headed off to Weobley Castle for some portraits, the last time I was here, we didn’t spend long inside. So it was nice to have some photos around the castle.
Mini Reunion
As I used to work with Tina and Andrew, by the time the evening guests arrived, it felt like a mini reunion, seeing so many people I knew. Unfortunately, I didn’t get time to sit down and have a drink and chat with these guys, I had some creative ideas planned, and guests to photograph 🙂
Smokin’
It was already dark after the ceremony, this is where I get more creative with my wedding photography. I was determined to do something different, and a little bit more special for these guys, as they were friends of mine.
Graham mentioned he had some smoke grenades! We obviously HAD to use them! With Andrew’s (the videographer) light, we lit the whole scene up, and came up with some absolutely stunning wedding photos for this lovely bride and groom!
Fireworks
After the first dance, the fireworks were ready before we knew it! As usual, Oldwalls put on a beautiful display of fireworks at the wedding.
