My first wedding abroad, and it was situated in one of the countries my wife and I have always wanted to visited, so what better opportunity to make it a little holiday to the romantic country that is Italy!

We stayed in Verona, Italy for our duration of the stay, visiting various adjacent cities including Malcesine in Lake Garda. I had hired a car, so drove up the motorway, taking in the gorgeous scenery of Italy, and headed back on the smaller roads alongside Lake Garda.

I don’t usually scout out wedding venues, but it would have been rude not to check out Malcesine, Lake Garda, as this little town is so quaint and beautiful!

I took the opportunity to meet up with Hannah and Chris before their big day, who were getting married at their destination wedding the next day! Hannah was busy with the wedding plans, so I spent 5 minutes with them to get them some portraits over Lake Garda.
