I’ve photographed quite a few weddings at Sylen Lakes, but this year, Ben and Stephanie’s wedding was the only one in 2017, so it was an absolute honour to be photographing a wedding here again, and being so local to me too.  It’s also a great opportunity to see the owners Nick and Rachel again too!

The Lodge

Bridal preparations was at The Lodge, a recent addition to Sylen Lakes, it’s the first time I’ve photographed bridal preparations here.  But I have had a quick sneak peak whilst I was documenting Jay and Amy’s Wedding in 2016. Arriving at the Lodge, it was nice to see how calm everyone was, thanks to the sunshine, I was able to hang the bride’s wedding dress outside for a photo 🙂

Golf Buggy

Who needs a Rolls Royce to get to their wedding ceremony, when you can ride in a golf buggy!  So much more fun! The ceremony was held in the marquee, where our groom, Ben was waiting anxiously for her bride.  Speaking of the golf buggy, it was a good job we were able to borrow the golf buggy again to go around the venue for some photos, take a look at how high the brides heels were!

What a beautiful wedding, it was easy to see how much the guests enjoyed!  No more photos were needed before I left for the night, but I couldn’t resist one more by the front door before I left 🙂  Enjoy the photos!
