My last wedding photography job for 2015, and absolutely loved it, this was a lovely and chilled out wedding, with the Bridal Preparation photography at the Rebecca’s home, I was warned before hand, that her little boy, who’s rather busy and difficult to get a photo of may play up on the day. Thankfully, having a toddler of a similar age, who is just as busy, I was able to get some fantastic and natural portraits of her son 🙂 For this wedding, I was working alongside Steve Ratcliffe Films, winner of Best Wedding Videographer in Wales 2015, it was a pleasure to work alongside Steve.

Although it was raining, it didn’t affect the wedding at all, especially when the ceremony was over, the rain had stopped for the confetti and the bride and groom portraits too! Â It was a bit wet to venture into the gardens, so the patio’d area it was… with the beautiful background, it didn’t seem as if it was a wet day all! Â This really is a gorgeous South Wales wedding venue, so once it started raining, I had to get some more portraits of this awesome couple inside, no wedding is complete without the fairylights!
As a professional South Wales wedding photographer, it is important to have back-up plans.. so as we shot the groups inside, I was equipt with 400 watts of light to bring the otherwise dull photos into life! Take a look at the ring shot below.. I’d spotted how sparkly one of the guests purse was, and just had to borrow it for the wedding ring shot, I needed a reflective surface, and borrowed the videographer’s phone (thanks Phil!) to setup the shot.
Anyway, that’s enough of me, enjoy the photos!
