Jodie and Gareth’s Wedding
Fairyhill & Llanelli Town Hall | Part 1 of 2!
As a wedding photographer in South Wales, I have to travel around to document weddings, but today, I was at my home town Llanelli, just minutes away photographing our beautiful bride-to-be Jodie at Bella Compelli in West End. It was just Jodie and her son Jack, so it a nice calm morning.
And with us the being the only ones at the hair salon, I had plenty of room too!
Bella Compelli and Burry Port
It was then over to Burry Port for bbridal preparations, with an untraditional wedding, Gareth, our Groom was also there, so it was a great photo opportunity to get some photos of the groom getting ready too! I’ve done similar, where the bride and groom are in different rooms in a hotel, such as this Castle Coombe Wedding but not in the same house 🙂 This was my first time, it was also my first time at Llanelli Town Hall, and also first time shooting at Fairyhill!
Llanelli Town Hall
Once everyone was ready, it was back into Llanelli Town Hall, a grade 2 listed building built in 1864-6! Anyway, over to the beautiful ceremony with the large windows casting amazing light on the bride and groom, it made the ceremony even more beautiful!
Fairyhill Wedding Photographer
Fairyhill wedding photographer – We took the opportunity to get some photographs outside Llanelli Town Hall, but once the rain started, we headed off to Fairyhill. Turning up at Fairyhil, the rain had stopped, and the sun made an appearance, perfect timing!
Here we had our formal group photos before heading off for the wedding breakfast.
End of Part 1
So that’s day one of two for Jodie and Gareth’s wedding at Fairyhill, next week, I will be photographing part two!
