So here I am again, starting my post off with… I finally get to blog about a wedding I’ve done a few months ago, but I’ve been so busy with everything lately! BUT… don’t worry, this lovely couple, as well as the rest of my clients have already received their wedding photos, in fact, they’re just waiting on their wedding album to be delivered! So it’s only be with my late blogging that’s delayed – phew!
I’ve shot Jen’s niece when I first started shooting weddings, and funnily enough, it was also at the Diplomat Hotel in Llanelli! So it was a pleasure to cover her Auntie’s wedding, and was lovely to have caught up with Gemma too, not to forget her beautiful children too!
Anyway, a lovely start to the day at the hotel, sun was beaming and promising a beautiful day ahead for the fab Bride and Groom here in South Wales. I love shooting Bridal Preparations, so many opportunities to be creative! Shooting the detail shots around the venue, I learnt that the wedding cake was designed by Jen’s son, and created by Cakes by Helzbach, scroll down and take a look, it looks awesome!!
For out Bride and Groom portraits, nothing was planned, and they were happy with photos around the gardens at the Diplomat, but as it was such a nice day, and we had plenty of time before the wedding breakfast, we decided to head off into town to shoot at Llanelli Town Hall, and just shoot around the grounds at the hotel after the Speeches instead. I feel so privileged when a couple are so relaxed and spontaneous about their wedding photos, it means we are able to get some amazing wedding photos for them and give them beautiful lasting memories forever!
Have a scroll through a selection of their wedding photos. As usual, I’m sure the couple would love to hear your comments below, and as always, if you like my work, I’d love it if you shared it.
