Sam and Adam’s Cardiff Wedding | Marriot Hotel
It was an absolute pleasure to have been asked by a friend to cover their wedding in Cardiff for them, I still made them look through my photos first, to make sure they actually do like my wedding photography first!, just like any potential Bride and Groom! And to double check things, we had a pre-wedding shoot at Cardiff Museum,
it was really an excuse for a catch-up with an old friend – ha! I actually need to post that session up, but as I’m so busy with everything else, and my blog doesn’t get updates as often as it should, I thought I’d post the wedding images first, as I absolutely love the photos!
So this was the first time I’ve covered a wedding at the Marriot Hotel in Cardiff, I used to work in Cardiff, so know the area well, and surprisingly, this was my first visit to the hotel too! I love shooting new venues, I make a point, in not to research and scout the area, as I love finding new locations to shoot, and if I did a bit of research with Google images, I’d end up with the same photos as every other wedding photographer in Cardiff, or South Wales even! So after the usual Bridal Preparation photos, the ceremony and the groups, we took a walk around the hotel, it was sooo windy! So we ended up inside, I noticed the restaurant was intimately lit, so off we went… it was empty! So we had plenty of time to set up lights, and even move tables and chairs about just to get the perfect shot 🙂
I had so much time with my photos, and this awesome couple were absolutely brilliant with me wanting to take more and more shots all the time! Just when I thought I’d finished, we’d walk back and I’d see another location for a photo, or two!! I was known as “Just one more Ed” in the end!
If you like my photos, I would be honoured if you shared my post 🙂
