Kayleigh and Gareth’s Wedding

As a wedding photographer in Carmarthenshire, I am always honoured to document a wedding locally.  Although a distance away from Llanelli, Kayleigh and Gareth’s wedding felt like home!  With a majority of guests from Kidwelly, my wife Heidi knew a lot of the guests being a Kidwelly girl herself!

This meant guests were even more relaxed than usual, which gave us the opportunity to capture some really natural portraits.

You could say I’m an Australian wedding photographer, shooting a wedding from a destination around the other side of the world, as the bride and groom’s relatives were Skype’d the ceremony. Sadly though, the connection broke, and some of the ceremony was missed.  However, as I am now providing online galleries, a simple email and link, and the full gallery can be viewed from anywhere in the world!

After the ceremony, the rain kept coming down, I’m not cruel enough to make all the guests go outside for group photos, so we managed to photograph the family in the wedding breakfast room, the staff at Broadway Country House were king enough to move a table for us – thank you!

There was no way the rain was going to stop, so portraits were shot inside, that didn’t matter, as the venue was beautiful anyway, and I also bring my own portable studio lights with me!  I especially loved the stained glass roof that provided the gorgeous setting!
