Sarann and Paul’s Wedding | Craig Y Nos Castle, Brecon

It’s been a whilst since I’ve documented a wedding here at Craig Y Nos Castle, so it was an absolute pleasure to photograph Sarann and Paul’s wedding here at this gorgeous and historic castle.

Bridal Preparations

A big thanks to MUA Leah James for providing her light for the morning! Hairstylist Lucie Sommerfield and I were very grateful 🙂 It’s always nice when the bride is calm, and Sarann was no exception, her daughters too, they were so well behaved, and seemed to enjoy the morning and dressing up as little princesses! With not much room to get the dress in the shot, I had to get photos of the dress outside in the hallway, a big thanks goes to the bridesmaids for stopping guests from passing!

Ceremony

I always enjoy the ceremony here at Craig Y Nos, the registrar’s are always so relaxed and easy going, she’ll even move out the way so I can get the rings being exchanged, church weddings, I’m only allowed to stay in one spot, and sometime just at the back of the church! It was a fab ceremony, beautiful and full of love!

Rain!

It was raining all day, so there was no chance of us getting group photos outside, instead, we photographed them all inside the theatre, shout out goes to the groomsmen for clearing the area for photos!

Dry Spell

After wedding breakfast and speeches, we planned to get a rain shot as it was getting darker, low and behold, it stopped raining!! So we took the opportunity to get some bride and groom portraits around the back. Time was against us, so back in we went for the first dance, and then one more final shot outside the castle!
