Jemma & Rory’s Wedding | Bargoed Golf Club, South Wales

WOW… one of my first weddings I photographed! Bargoed, in South Wales. I had so much fun photographing this wedding, I remember there being so many different places to use as backdrops, were so down to earth and were up for photos around the varuous locations on the day… and night too! To this day, Jemma and Rory are still together! Now that’s love!

check out their photos if you haven’t already done so.  So off I went to Bargoed for a very early start for Jemma’s bridal preperation photos.  Hair and makeup was expertly done by Rachel of Carter Cutzz Hairdressing – a mobile wedding hairdresser.  This bridal preperation shoot will always standout for me, why?  Because catapiller appeared on Rachel’s shoulder out of nowhere!  Well, not out of nowhere, we were too focused on this beautiful bride to notice, but when I looked, there it was!  A catapiller on the hairdressers shoulder!   Photo can be found on my facebook page, look in the timeline album.

Reception was held at the Bargoed Golf Club, where we had loads of photographic locations to shoot from, and with Rory and Jemma being so up for photos, they had a large variety of shots and at different locations, result!

They had an awesome surprise first dance, dancing of slow, and surprising everyone with a routine they came up with themselves, definitely a fun wedding to attend, as a guest and as a wedding photographer!  Did I mention the amazingly delicious hog roast too?  Yummy!
