My first wedding of 2020, and what an absolute pleasure it was to photograph my school friend’s wedding, and to top that up, it was on valentine’s day, how romantic!

Karen got ready at her parent’s home in Trimsaran, with her hair already looking amazing, thanks to The Salon in Burry Port. It was just a case of wedding make up artist Kelsey doing her thing and dress on, which by the way, was stunning!, the train fell perfectly! Well done Cariad Bridal!

With the beautiful ceremony at Ashburnham Hotel over, it was time for welcome drinks and group photos before we knew it! Due to the wet weather and Storm Ciara, we thought we’d better to the group photos inside! Not to worry, I bring all my portable studio lights with me to weddings!

Eventually, the weather did calm down, and the rain did stop, so we took the opportunity to get some outdoor photographs just before the speeches.

And speaking of speeches, they were fantastic, lovely, heart warming and emotional, as well as a funny speech by one of the guests – had me burst out laughing from behind my camera anyway!

It was so nice to have met up with my other old school friends, could have easily put the camera down and talked all through the wedding haha.
